I am a self-taught artist, rediscovering a passion for painting later in life, after a long and fulfilling career in nursing. Inspired by the beauty of nature, I primarily focus on painting representational landscapes, seascapes, animals, and still life with an impressionistic flavor. My favorite mediums are oil and acrylic, which allow me to capture the vibrant colors and textures of the natural world. I love painting pets, capturing their unique personalities and expressions on canvas. I believe that art has the power to touch people in profound and meaningful ways, evoking emotions and sparking conversations that can transcend language barriers. In a world where technology often dominates our attention, I hope to bring the natural world back into focus through my art, encouraging viewers to pause and reflect on its beauty.
